Kalkulant Systems prices tenders for German metalworking firms. A Metallbau or Stahlbau company gets a tender with a few hundred line items and has to work out what each one costs — today that's a skilled estimator spending days in Excel, and often the owner doing it at night. Kalkulant reads the firm's own past quotes and calculations, learns how that specific firm prices, and then prices the new tender line by line, showing where each number came from and how confident it is. The output is a ready quote as a PDF and as a GAEB file, the format the industry exchanges tenders in. It's sold as a service rather than software you install, and it's per-firm: it learns your prices, not an industry average, and your numbers never leave your tenant.
